A Cabinet of Critiques, ótimo artigo sobre a exposição The Museum as Muse.
Descoberta no artigo:
- In 1991, Sophie Calle focused on the often overlooked human component of museums by asking staffers (guards, curators, etc.) at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston to describe several valuable paintings that had been stolen from the museum the previous year. The resulting works, which pair text panels of the employees’ descriptions with photographs of the now empty frames where the missing pictures hung, reveal the diverse and highly personal impressions these works had on those in most constant contact with them.
